I just wanted to take a moment to thank Daisy for speaking up about neurodivergence and driving more awareness in the workplace. So many people either don’t understand or don’t care - I’m not sure which!
I was diagnosed with ADHD two years ago, and it was a huge eye-opener. Suddenly, everything made sense - why I work the way I do, why I’ve burned out twice, and why certain environments have felt so difficult. Unfortunately, after sharing my diagnosis with my manager, I was let go just two weeks later. Whether it was related or not, I now see it as a blessing - I wouldn’t want to be part of a workplace that doesn’t support neurodivergent employees.
Daisy’s work is so important in changing these conversations. Thank you for advocating for real awareness and helping workplaces do better!
I was struggling to find happiness in my role again. I didn’t want to leave my job, but I also didn’t want to stay stuck in a position that no longer felt right. After our consultation, I felt confident enough to have an open conversation with my manager about what I truly wanted. I asked for a shift in my role (a step down from management while keeping the same pay), and to my surprise, they were fully on board! We’re now drafting a new position that aligns with my strengths - a role that allows me to stay strategic without the management responsibilities I no longer enjoyed.
I wouldn’t have taken this step without Daisy’s insight. She helped me see that I didn’t need to quit to be happy, I just needed to ask for what I actually wanted.
